Day 5 was all the “all local” day and included Sam Bentley & His Honky-Tonk Band, Temple Ray, Scott Wayne, Glen Collins & The Alibis, & Lucky Tubb, Then, we had to go home to get ready for work the next day. Dang it!!
Sam Bentley & His Honky-Tonk Band
Tom kept the whole show on-time!!!!!!!!!!!!
I really should remember those license plates don’t make a good background!!
Nancy owns Giddy Ups and Michael took care of the booking
Who says you can’t have fun honky-tonkin’ on a Sunday afternoon?
This was the crowd’s reaction to Sam’s original, ‘Jack’s Favorite Song’
Ms Temple Ray
Didn’t know what to expect from Scott Wayne. Now we do!! He’s good!!
Glen Collins with Al Kentfield sitting in on pedal steel and Olin Melton on lead guitar (hmmmmm……didn’t we just see them with Sam?)
Lucky Tubb with Jerry Renshaw on lead and…..wait a minute……isn’t that Al Kentfield on steel again?
There was a lot of dancing goin’ on. Danny was dancing with Connie……who was then dancing with Sam while Danny danced with Yvonne while…… Well…..we’ll just say it got a little confusing!! 🙂
